Beneath the Moonlight

Beneath the distant deep-blue night, a silver galaxy flows

That is the place where you and I once gazed at stars aglow

When the evening breeze carries the scent of blooming flowers to my shoulder

I recall your gentle singing, that once warmed my heart of stone

We once sang beneath the moonlight, in spring we hoped and dreamed
