Neon Hunters

Every evening when the sun bleeds out I walk the streets of downtown glow

Neon signs are whispering secrets that only lonely strangers know

The windows dressed in gold and velvet mannequins with frozen stares

And I'm just drifting through the shadows breathing in the perfumed air

High heels clicking on the pavement like a predator's heartbeat sound
