Neon Rainfall on 4th Street

Neon signs are bleeding in the Manchester rain

The 41 bus is a ghost in the gray

I hear my mother’s piano through the floorboards

While the radio plays a song from Tokyo Bay

Floating on a velvet sea of magnetic tape
